In Memory of Caterina Cushing
~May 29th,1985-January 4th,2004~

Near the door,he paused to stand
as he took his class ring off her hand
All who were watching did not speak
as a slient tear ran down his cheek
and through his mind, the memories ran
Of the moments they walked
and ran in the sand
But now her eyes were so bitterly cold
for he would never again have her to hold
They watched in silence as he bent near
and whispered the words"i love you"in her ear
He touched her face as he started to cry
As he put his ring on,he wanted to die
And just then, the wind began to blow,
and they lowered her casket into the snow

Life is not eternal, but a memory never dies

Caterina was lost in a car accident, on January 4th, 2004. She was a good friend to many people and made a huge impact in our community. She loved going to movies and playing volleyball whenever she could. She will be greatly missed by everyone, but the memories of her warm smile, and bubbly personality will be engraved in our hearts forever.
Caterina, you have blessed us in so many ways, it is impossible to name each and everyone of them. We know you hear our prayers, and are watching over us.I can't begin to explain how you changed my life and how greatful i was to have such a great friend like you. The times and laughs we shared together will forever be in my heart, and i will never forget the memories we created. It is going to be hard to go to work, and not have you standing by me to talk to, and make plans with, but i know you will always be there, in my heart and memories. Cat, we love you and we miss you more than words can express!!
R.I.P. A friend once, a friend forever.
